Muneaki Nakamura, PhD
Director of Biology
Muni received his Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry at Stanford University with work on rational engineering of motor proteins. He performed postdoctoral work in the lab of Stanley Qi, where he developed CRISPR applications encompassing gene regulation, epigenetic editing, anti-CRISPR methods of control, and delivery modalities.
Jeffrey Hsu, PhD
Jeff is co-founder and CEO of Ivy Natal. He previously led bioinformatics at a preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) startup and did postdoctoral research at the Cleveland Clinic on the genomic basis of heart disease. He received his PhD in Molecular Medicine from Case Western Reserve University.
